Goals
The original goals (delineated in the juridically approved statute, i.e. "the foundation of a permanent colony dedicated to the assistance and therapy work - especially marine and eliotherapic therapies - of frail children, with particular preference towards those in the Comune of Milazzo and Cape Milazzo") have been, in time, widened and diversified as needed due to the changing nature of society.
Today, the Foundation's purpose is to give out social, educational, didactic, cultural, recreational and environmental kinds of assistance with the help of XXX or the founding of day and/or residential centers or summer and/or permanent colonies, that is of additional structures open to kids who are entitled to their use by law, with more priority to those who belong to more unfortunate or poorer families, and to disabled children.
Furthermore, if possible considering its structural, organizational and financial means, the Foundation can promote and manage additional projects inside and outside the Foundation itself.
The services provided following the established statues must, and are currently guaranteed solely with the revenue originated from the management of the Foundation's real estate possessions.
